It is probably the best known of all baking molds - the ring cake pan. However, it is not entirely clear how it was named. According to records, the first ring cake pan was used before the 17th century, but at that time it was mainly made of clay or wood.

Nowadays, there are many different materials, but the ring cake pans from RBV Birkmann are primarily made of carbon steel or cast aluminum. Even silicone is used as a material, such as the special "Novel" baking mold of the Easy Baking series. Likewise, we are taking baking molds sustainability a step further: with our new 'Cause we care series, we have developed baking pans that are made of tinplate. As a sustainable material, tinplate offers an excellent heat distribution and, thanks to their high quality, allows a long period of use. Subsequently, they are fully recyclable.

To ensure that your cakes are easy to remove after baking, they are all sealed with a branded non-stick coating. Garnish the classic cake with powdered sugar, chocolate or sugar pearls to give it a beautiful look - after all, a beautifully decorated cake is even more delicious. However, if you don't want to decorate your ring pan cake elaborately, you don't have to forgo an eye-cathcer. With the Contoura series from RBV Birkmann, you can bake unique cakes that are completely convincing without decoration and attract anyone at the coffee table. To ensure that every cake fan also gets a piece of the delicious pastry, the baking pan is available in different sizes. You can determine and customize the amount depending on the visit.
