Cleaning Clean the cake and gift tin by hand with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh cleaning agents or abrasive sponges that could damage the protective coating. After cleaning, dry the tin thoroughly to remove moisture and prevent rust from forming. The cake and gift tin is not dishwasher-safe, as high temperatures and aggressive cleaning agents could damage the surface.
