Before first use Thank you for choosing our product. Please remove all packaging materials and labels before first use. Then clean the product with warm water and a mild detergent to remove any production residues. Dry the product thoroughly before using it. Product features and recommendations The bread basket combines functional design with natural materials – ideal for storing bread, rolls or pastries. Made of galvanised metal – durable, hygienic, tasteless and rust-proof. The bamboo lid closes securely, protects against drying out and can also be used as a cutting or serving board. Small ventilation openings (if present) ensure air circulation and help to prevent condensation forming inside. Also ideal for storing biscuits, leftover cake or small kitchen utensils. Cleaning Metal box: Clean only with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects, as these can damage the surface or impair the corrosion protection. Wipe dry after cleaning. Bamboo lid: Wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not soak, rinse under running water or clean in the dishwasher. For maintenance, the lid can occasionally be rubbed with a food-safe vegetable oil. Safety instructions Neither the metal box nor the bamboo lid should be cleaned in the dishwasher. Do not store hot baked goods in the bread bin immediately after baking – allow them to cool completely first to prevent condensation and mould growth. The box is food-safe and suitable for dry baked goods. Direct contact with very moist or fatty foods is not recommended. The bread bin should be kept in a dry, well-ventilated place. Moisture can damage both metal and bamboo materials. The bread bin is not airtight, which promotes natural freshness through air circulation – ideal for bread with a crust. The lid is not suitable for playing with. Small children should only use the bread bin under supervision. Check the inside regularly for crumbs, moisture or mould. Clean the bin weekly for hygienic storage.
