Before first use Please clean the cake plate or cake stand thoroughly with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft sponge before using it for the first time. Rinse the product carefully and dry it completely to remove any residues from production and ensure hygienic use. Product features and recommendations The cake stands and cake plates are made of finely glazed, food-safe ceramic, which is tasteless, hygienic and durable. Ideal for stylishly arranging and presenting cakes, tarts, cupcakes or other baked creations – perfect for special occasions, coffee tables or buffets. The heavy material ensures a secure footing on the table and impresses with its high-quality feel and classic design. Also suitable for fruity or creamy cakes with acidic ingredients such as citrus fruits or berries. Cleaning Clean the ceramic surface with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft sponge. Residues of icing, cream or fruit should be removed as soon as possible after use. The products are generally dishwasher safe. To protect the decoration and glaze in the long term, we recommend cleaning by hand. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or steel wool to avoid scratches or dull spots on the glaze. Safety instructions Not suitable for use in microwaves or ovens (unless otherwise stated). The cake plates and platters are intended for presentation and serving purposes. Use in microwaves or ovens is only permitted if the product is expressly marked for this purpose. Do not expose the ceramic to sudden temperature changes (e.g. from the refrigerator to a hot surface), as this can lead to stress cracks. The materials and glazes used are food-safe and do not release any undesirable substances into your food. Check the product regularly for chips or hairline cracks in the glaze. Damaged ceramics should not be used as cracks can harbour bacteria. Due to their weight and the risk of breakage, ceramic cake plates and cake stands should only be used by children under supervision. Store the plates and stands protected from impact and avoid stacking them directly on top of each other without a layer in between to prevent scratches or glaze chipping.
