Fancy a fresh coat of paint?

With the RBV Birkmann wooden brush, you can grease baking tins and trays, glaze cakes, biscuits and tarts, and marinate fish and meat dishes, etc., in no time at all.

Thanks to its extra-fine natural bristles, it’s perfect for the delicate, decorative application of glazes, icings or egg white glazes.

It’s also excellent for marinating delicious roasts or tasty barbecued meat. Or for home-baked bread, which should be brushed very lightly with a little water every now and then whilst proving, so that it develops a wonderfully crisp crust later on.

Did you know that wood is generally very hygienic to use? It has natural antibacterial properties, so germs and bacteria don’t stand a chance. What’s more, it absorbs virtually no odours or flavours!

After use, you can simply rinse it briefly under running water with a mild washing-up liquid. The only important thing is to make sure it dries thoroughly afterwards. We recommend rubbing the wood with a neutral oil from time to time – we prefer to use odourless rapeseed oil, as this prevents the wood from absorbing water too quickly, stops food that stains easily from leaving marks so readily, and helps the wood retain its original colour.

Once you’ve finished using it, you can hang it up in the kitchen for display, thanks to the eyelet at the end of the handle.
