In order to use your baking pan for a long time, you need a stable quality. This is what you get with a steel pan from RBV Birkmann.

Our pans are made of carbon steel. This material consists of iron and carbon, whereby iron takes up almost the entire share. Only a small percentage of carbon is added to the baking pan steel during production. However, this small percentage is sufficient to guarantee the high strength of the baking pan. Iron itself is too mellow and would not be sufficient for a baking pan, so the carbon is added to achieve the known quality.

Baking pans made of steel have a very good and even heat conduction, so that the pastry can bake through equally at every point and a unitary result is achieved. In addition, carbon steel is very easy to handle: after baking, the baking pan can be washed out with water and dish soap and leave to dry. That's why we use carbon steel!

Depending on the series, our baking pans are sealed with different non-stick coatings, which allow an easy release after baking.
